In Memoriam

Olof Johansson * 1934-07-14  † 2010-10-10

Min far har idag lämnat oss. Han somnade in fridfullt strax före kl 13.00 på Västerås sjukhus. Han blev under hösten 2009 opererad för cancer i övre magmun. Och redan då var jag orolig att han inte skulle klara sig. Var då nere i Kosovo och han var i december så dålig att jag fick en förvarning av mor att han då eventuellt inte skulle klara sig. Men under våren blev han friskar och  kunde lämna sjukhuset och under sommaren var han och mor ute i stugan. I mitten av Augusti började han klaga på att han var orkeslös. I mitten av September blev han inskriven på sjukhuset och han blev allt mer orkeslös och den 10 oktober strax före kl 13.00 somnade han in för gått.

Han kommer att bli saknad!

Mom and I were in Stockholm yesterday and looked at China's terracotta army, which was exhibited at the East Asian Museum. Then went to Cosmonova and watch Deep Sea - a movie about life underwater

Funeral

2010-11-04 we buried my father. It was a sunny and nice november day. The sun was shining and that was a couple of degrees above zero. The funeral itself was tough and sad but the subsequent dinner was much more fun and really enjoyable. Thanks to friends and cousins...
